Similar to a rare original in the Whitehorne House Museum, this bed is in the style of John Townsend. It features his distinctive ball and claw feet and turned and fluted front posts. The rear posts are turned and have marlborough feet.
It is shown here with finials atop the posts but may also be ordered with a tester (canopy) frame. Available in queen or king size, the bed holds a modern box spring and mattress. The bed is assembled with bed bolts as is the original.
